COVID-19 Relief

According to the United Nations, virus-linked hunger is causing 10,000 child deaths a month. With limited access to resources like schools, markets, and other community gathering places, COCE aimed to alleviate some of that hunger through our Relief Fund.

Nangina Primary School

Previously condemned, the Nangina Primary School was holding classes outside under trees. In June of 2020, COCE Kenya was able to raise funds and build 2 new classrooms for the school children to have a conducive indoor learning environment.

Bukhulungu Primary

School

With the help of our generous donors COCE Kenya was able to complete it’s first infrastructure project in 2014 with the building of two classrooms for Bukhulungu Primary School.

Female Latrines

Often girls must leave school once they begin puberty due to a lack of toilets. In 2015 COCE Kenya helped to build two girls’ latrines at Bukhulungu Primary School which has helped many girls remain in school and continue their education.
