Sponsorship

In sub-Saharan Africa, education is often the only path out of poverty. For too many children, pursuing an education is a constant financial struggle. Although primary school became government-mandated in 2003, this does not account for secondary school. Over half of all Kenyan children are unable to attend secondary school due to the financial burden. COCE’s sponsorship program aims to connect caring individuals and families with children who need financial support to further their education. We at COCE believe that through sponsorship, not only do we help the children, but the children can, in turn, make a difference in their families, communities, and country.

Please use our Contact Us page to send us an email to inquire about student sponsorship.

Children in Need of Sponsorship

Children are Waiting

We have so many children waiting for sponsorship so that they can attend secondary school, vocational training, or university. The children we advocate for are in rural Kenya, where many families are making just enough to survive. This means that the only way children can attend school is if sponsors come alongside them to cover the expense of school fees. Please consider helping us to create educational opportunities for these children.

Denis, 22 years old

Our oldest student, Denis, is currently in university to become an engineer. He serves as a mentor and leader to other sponsor students in our program and is widely respected in his community for his hard work and determination. Without the support of sponsors, his dreams would not be a reality. To learn more about Denis and other students in our program, visit our blog.
